La Vita è Bella
The world we live in is a beautiful place.
Right now is a great time to be alive; we have so many tools readily available (literally) at our fingertips. Many of us are just a click away from infinite resources which provide us delicious food, empowering knowledge and closer connection.
But it's also an incredibly overwhelming time too; we're just a scroll away from witnessing infinite cases of abject poverty, brutal ignorance and unfair division. Despite our amazing advances in technology - designed to make our lives better - we still face age old issues of abuse, illness, addiction, discrimination and tyranny.
How do we find a permanent solution to the sky that keeps falling? Well. Truth is, we don't. I'm continually re-discovering that finding permanence in a world that only guarantees change is a pipe dream.
How is it possible then to see the world as the beautiful place that it is? Well. It's different for everyone. My passion is helping myself and others rediscover the love, peace and joy that is truly abundant but all too often clouded from view by the struggles in our lives.
I'm always discovering new personal truths and beliefs that allow me to come back to that innate place of goodness within myself; innate in ALL of us. I am always meeting new and wonderful human beings (and a lot of not so stellar ones) that inspire me to be kinder, reach higher, and re-align my direction when I have strayed. I am always facing new challenges, making many mistakes, and learning valuable lessons (the hard and easy way) which I choose to see as opportunities of growth rather then permanent setbacks (it can take me QUITE some time to see them that way though!)
I would like to share my experiences with you here, and my intention is to in some way, shape or form, help you feel less alone. My story may be different then yours. My beliefs, feelings and thoughts are not the be-all-end-all solution to everything. My knowledge (and lack there of!) can never "fix" anything. I alone know what is truly best for me, and you alone do too, but we can achieve a sense of knowing when we tap back into our innate place of goodness. All I offer you here is my honesty, authenticity and vulnerability in the hope that it guides you back to seeing a little more beauty, feeling a little more love and finding a little more freedom.
Because Life is Beautiful :)
